The ICING on THE CAKE || California Wedding Day Magazine Fall/Winter 2024
We had the incredible opportunity to be part of a stunning wedding cake photo shoot featured in the fall/winter 2024 issue of California Wedding Day Magazine. This editorial shoot was a true celebration of artistry and sophistication, showcasing exquisitely crafted wedding cakes by some of Southern California’s most talented cake artists.
The inspiration for this shoot was a modern take on vintage cakes, blending timeless designs with a modern flair. Each cake was adorned with delicate Swiss meringue buttercream, evoking the charm of past eras while incorporating fresh, modern elements. The result was a breathtaking display of edible art that perfectly balanced nostalgia and innovation.
The cake tables were impeccably styled by the talented Kristeen LaBrot, who added vintage touches and moody color stories to create an enchanting atmosphere. The combination of her styling along with her hand selected linen choices elevated each tablescape, making every detail feel luxurious and cohesive.
With so many incredible cakes to admire, it’s impossible to choose a favorite—we truly love them all. We’re honored to have been part of such a magical collaboration and to see our linens featured in this extraordinary shoot.
